TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading.” The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. Local Savannah non-profit, The Creative Coast, hosted their annual TEDx talk this past Friday and Bastille’s own Ryan Thompson was in attendance and shares with you his experience.
“From arborists to opera singers, musicians to hackers, this years speakers shared their thoughts, life lessons, and battles with happiness. “Decoding Happiness” was the theme for this year’s TEDx talk and with that came a rush of information on this sentiment.” Says Ryan.
We at Bastille decode happiness by continually giving back to the community we live and work in. We stay true to our roots and realize that fostering our community through business partnerships, campaigns, and volunteer work can, and have made a huge difference. We strive to be a positive impact on social change through our work with arts advocacy groups, nonprofits, and social services organizations at the local level, which brings about the happiness in all of us.
